Wet Dry Filter/Sump for sale

I have a Wet Dry Filter/Sump that is taking up space in my garage that I need to sell.

It is a Sealife Systems acrylic wet dry filter complete with all the baffles and bioballs, it was rated "supposedly for up to a 90 gallon tank".
I also have some acrylic baffles that were cut to fit that I used in it as a sump for my 55 gallon tank(without the bioballs). Everything is in good shape and it will fit under the tank in the cabinet of a 55 gallon or maybe smaller.

It worked well for me but I changed my sump, refugium to hold additional equipment and do not need this any longer.

Would be a great filter or sump for someone setting up a tank where they need a smaller sump under there tank.

I will sell for $65.00 if anyone is interested just let me know.

i could use that on the 90 im getting tomarrow but nomo money due to moving costs from the big move taking place tomarrow , so ill unfortionatly have to pass

Footprint is 10x20 and 16 inches tall.

Have the intake hose ( looks like a vacum hose) but do not have an overflow.

I also have some Chaeto, for it if someone is wanting to use it as a sump!! throw that in for free complete with the pods that are in it.

That fits , if I do get it , I won't have anything to connect it to for afew weeks. BC my tank is still empty.

A sump would save me from my "HOB nightmare".

Scanning the net now to see if I can find a cheap overflow and sump pump.

I will try and post pics in the morning before I head to the office but You are more than welcome to pick it up and test fit it if you like.

I actually ran my skimmer as a HOB off of my sump under the cabinet.

Looks like you are well on your way to accumulating everything your going to need.

Thanks , I'm trying to be "prepared".

I'll see if I can eye ball it from a pic , but if I can't.
I'll do the test fit. Would give a for sure measurement. ;)

I'm going to try and fit the CSS 220 inside it , if not I'll try hanging it HOB off the sump. The skimmer and my heater are the only 2 peices of equipment that I think I will put in it.

I really want to get it , but I am having some doubts that I can.
I can afford the sump no problem , what is going to get expensive is a overflow , pump , and light for the sump/refugium setup.
Lemme keep looking around , I'm hoping I can find those peices cheap off ebay or used.

Could not find the Camera before I came in to the office this morning, sent you a PM Grendel0501.

Will post a pic this afternoon (If I can find out where our daughter has put the camera)

Sweet thanks , I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it.
As long as I can fit my goodies in there.

Even if I don't have the money for the nesscessary items , I can always get those later.

Does anyone know how to figure out how much power I will need to get a water pump to pump 300gph over a 6 foot heigth?

I was think a 600gph would be enough , but I have no idea.

This is how I think I will try and run the sump.

The intake will be on the right side with the skimmer , the water will have to pass over a wall to exit the skimmer area , then it is channeled past the heater , and up to the return pump. Ontop of the egg crate , by the return pump , I will have some chaeto and live rock.

If anyone sees a better way to configure it please let me know.

i would set your drain into the taller side with the skimmer and the filter and put the return pump on the lower side with the lr and macro alge

I was hoping if I ran the water level higher than it would have been as a wet/dry , it would fill up both compartments , covering the return pump.

The desired water level would be right above the neck of the water pump.

The wall holding water in the skimmer section isn't connected and can be removed.

Would this not work?

Here are some pics I took showing possibilities with the placement of the skimmer. 1 2 3 4 5 6
Original Assembly ducklab included some cutout platics peices I can use to section off certain areas.

I did a forum about it but didn't get any replies.

the skimmer location in pic 2 is the way i would go. you want your return pump in the lowest part of the sump to keep it from sucking in any air.

Better?
Where do you think I should put the chaeto and lr? I can remove the plastic overflow peice or the egg crate that holds up the skimmer pump

you canput rock in both the return sections and under the eggcrate. you can put the chaeto where ever you can get light to it, if your skimmer pump ends up out of the water you can remove the egg crate and put the pump at the bottom..
