Im not sure whats the difference, Bio-balls will help reduce Nitrates correct so Im guessing Wet/Dry is better, Do anyone know if there is a wet/dry filter be able to hold a euroreef skimmer?>

I've had both and prefer a sump over a wet/dry. The bio-balls can collect detris which will breakdown in the system and increase your Nitrates instead of reducing them. Do a search and you will find many stories of that very thing happening.

Bio balls are nitrate factories and should be avoided like the plague! Use 1-2 pounds of live rock per gallon of water to help keep nitrates in ballance. Do weekly 10%-15% water changes to keep nitrates as close to zero as possible.

There are many ways to run a successful reef, even with a wet/dry. I prefer a sump and a good skimmer. With a sump, you have many more options to do things. You can partition part of it off to serve as a refugium, a place to put your skimmer, places to mount probes, place a filter sock, drip kalk, etc..... Just think ahead of what you might want to do.
