wet skimmate water change

as the title suggests, i want to set up an automatic water change system using wet skimmate. Through the years, I've always set up my skimmers to collect dry foam, but I think I've been doing it wrong all along.

My plan is to tap a hole in my collection cup feeding into a sealed 5 gallon bucket. A float switch connected to my controller atop the bucket will shut down skimmer pump when tripped. The lid will have an inlet from skimmer and a carbon vented chamber to release pressure and reduce odour.

I plan to pull out 2 to 3 liters a day.

A second bucket with fresh salt water will be hooked to a dosing pump matching the skimmer effluent rate.

I don't have any pics as I'm still in the planning stages. would like to get some feedback before i get started. I'd like to hear about your auto water change/wet skimmate setups as I know they are out there. Also and recommendations to improve my plan.

Thanks

ps. pics or current set ups would be helpful

I am not sure that the skimate is going to contain the exact salt levels as the normal water... I dont know if the bubbles will cause an imbalance in salinity but if not (easy to test!) then this seems a good idea. that much skimate will likely make you stink the house out though.
