Light and fish poop. When I feed the LPS I will suction out the cloudy water from the mixing cup and blow it across them, but I do not go out of my way to do so.

Thanks,Got plenty of fish poop.Its a 120,with 8 fish.I only feed frozen brine shrimp and marine pellets. And nori seeweed.Dose cal and alk daily.My skimmer is a little on the weak side being a octopus nwb150..So what do you think.All my other sps are growing good.Just added 5 acros. They are poylping a little. Got plenty of flow.

+1.... I reef chill and roids but recently add acropower and that was nt and day improvement for color and growth for me.

Mine are not to small,In fact tang police will burn me up.3".5 naso,3" yellow tang,1".5 hippo tang.

Just go slow and don't over do. Just monitor the algae growth on your glass.

I think a little is ok on the glass but none on the sand bed. I had very low nutrients so things hardly grew and no color. Monitoring the algae on the side of the glass was a easy way for me to tell without having to test .

Oyster feast, roti feast, reef boom, rods food and lots of fish poop. Thanks to vinegar dosing I can keep a bunch of small fish in my 75 gal that constantly provide the coral with a food source....if you catch my drift lol

Agreed if you have low nutrients smoking them twice per week with reefroids, frozen brine shrimp eggs and rotifiers at night works good for me.

For my reef, I also enjoy a lot of fish that I feed a wide variety of foods, and do not feed the corals directly. If I didn't have fish, I would buy some LE fish poop!!
