ok so i sold my 240G tank and it was run with a full calcium reactor system and it has been a while since I used a 2 part to dose a tank. So just wanting to know what peoples thoughts are.
Im moving down alot. To a 28G JBJ that i am gutting out the lighting system and am installing Rapid LEDs 24 dimmible kit into.

I dose b-ionic 2 part in my 29gal biocube. Only uses like 4ml a day.... I am going to get two BRS dosers and two eco timers. They dose 1.1ml per minute, and the timers can do 1 min intervals. Right now I am doing it each morning by hand.

ya with a smaller tank like this i dont mind doing it by hand.
oh and i forgot to mention that it is going to be alot of SPS with a few Zoas mostly LE items.

Manually dosing the 2 part B-Ionic every morning in our 20 gallon reef. It's what I would consider to be stocked to a medium level with zoas, hammer, leathers, and other soft coral as well as several other small lps frags.

i've got the 150 mh 28 jbj. heavy sps is going to be PIA. the tank will fight you every step of the way. i'm home all day, and have time to fight w/the tank. lps /zoa do great with this tank. water changes and a bump here and there and you'd be set. no need to worry about getting deployed and coming home to a fubared tank.

I have used B-Ionic for several years, but recently changed to the BRS solution. It is much cheaper and seems to be working just as well.

I also switched from B-Ionic to BRS as it's more cost effective. I slow drip using 2 BRS dosing pumps on my 90 gallon - so much easier with the automation.

BRS for Ca part and baked arm n hammer for the Kh part. I use drews dosers and timers. More consistent dosing over the day than dumping it in by hand. Plus, I can go on vacations with less training for our fish sitters ;)

trouble comes when it gets plate sized and starts splitting. They're very kewl; one of the neatest solana I've seen was based on an rbta and all its splits.
