What a beautiful..........mutt!!!

Found it wandering the street without a collar so I decided to bring it home :) Whoever said mongrels are ugly have never laid eyes on these mutts of the oceans.

Thanks guys. It's eating like a champ already. I'll get some more pix up soon.

Still hate you very much Kenny

Don't hate bro. I've already got my kids scouring the neighborhood for another one. And if this one decides to DEVOUR my corals instead of just nipping at them, I am sure I know where there will be a good home ;)

LOL!!! Yes sir!! I have a great home for it right here

It's around 2 3/4", which is hard to come by in itself, even if it was a straight tinkeri. Most of the tinks showing up are fairly large, usually around 4" or bigger. Finding a pair is almost guaranteed that you will have a large fish. But to find one in this size AND genetically influenced by burgessi and perhaps even flavocoronatus, is what really excites me. When it comes to reef and fish keeping, this is what it's all about, at least for me :)

And Chris, I know you are working your mojo right now, so you can stop hoping it'll start mowing down the reef

Thanks everyone! It's so exciting to be able to acquire something extraordinary such as this by a lowly reefkeeper like myself.

A shot of the little one in the QT.

stunning fish!!!! Congrats!! Where did you get him from? Many time the hybrid tinker complex fish have muddled colors, but your fish the colors are crisp and clearly separated. Well done on an amazing find! t

Thanks! I've been trying to get one for a while now. Even got a regular tinkeri earlier in the year from the late Rob Lower but that one didn't make it through the QT process. I was astounded to find this specimen available and locally.
