I would like to have two clarkii clownfish in my tank. Would 2 males or 2 female or 1 of each. Also a cleaner shrimp and a couple of snails and some gobies. Would this be a good choice?
It's best to have one of each. If you buy two males, one will turn into a female. Two small juveniles would be a good way to start. The clownfish should do well in a 24g tank, I think. There are lots of gobies. Which ones are you considering?
An Amphiprion clarkii or Clark's Clownfish and a Green Clown Goby would definately be an interesting combination for a 24g tank. I don't see it being a problem, I just think they'll both have compatible personalities like our Gold-striped Maroon Clownfish and Bi-colored Blenny. They get along real well and definately are two awesome fish with awesome personalities.
