I have a LTA and a pair of mated clowns that don't want to go in it. The one they had died and they will not move into the other. Should I just get a new one?

give it time.
when i sold my clownfishes h. crispa anemone, the little a. nigripes clownfish took a few weeks to go to an existing sim. sized rbta. it exhibited similar behavior when i'd remove it's clone of choice post division. neither anemones are it's natural host however i question the significants, it would seem as though they respond to a chemical fingerprint.

h. crispa would be best but grow to large for a 20g aquarium. you may be able to keep a bta in a 20h, some do i wouldn't, too small and challenging to maintain stable conditions. i've seen 24" rbta's. mine would divide at around 15"-18".
s. haddoni carpets have been known to eat percs. i'm under the impression it happens when the clown initiates hosting.
