what are natural hosts for true percs?

Hetaractis crispa, H. magnifica, Stichodactyla gigantea, S. Mertensii, and some adapt to Entacmaea quadricolor as mine did.

How long have you had the haddoni now?

If they havent hosted yet patience is still a good idea, But that can be a double edge sword with a fish eater like a haddoni..

Like I said earlier, there are countless examples of haddoni hosting percs aswell. But I couldnt get it to work.

IMO the preferred NEM for a perc is either a H. Mag or Gig.

Natural hosts are Heteractis magnifica and Stichodactyla gigantea. Also many sources list Heteractis crispa as a natural host as well, although I have never seen a confirmed photo of this association. To my knowledge S. mertensii naturally hosts A. ocellaris but not percula and neither host E. quadricolor in nature.

had the haddoni about 11 days and yes I'm impatient but they immediately hosted the LTA within seconds. just so I cover myself here, I removed the LTA for fear of my percs losing their black.

I know I also fear that it will eat them. I may try a Gig but they get so big and I only have a 50 breeder. Crispa might be the way to go

not 100% if these were percula or occy's but they hosted h.crispa
