What are other good t5 brands besides ati for sps?

I love bengals
I have been looking for a new fixture, always wanted an ati powermodule but since its gone I was looking at other options. Its so hard to find any other nice fixtures. I am going to need a 36" fixture and would love a good 10 or 12 bulb one. But I can't for the life of me remember any of the names of the decent ones and when I do I see they are not made anymore, like the sfiligoi or however its spelled. Has the led phase run all the t5 fixtures out of the hobby??? I also made a thread in the wtb section about needing a 36" 8+ bulb fixture.
It seems when t5 lighting is discussed its always ati. There has to be other options for sps heads that are not really pricy. It seems everything has LEDs in it and a high price attached. If I want LEDs I will add them myself or use a reef bar. I was going to get the powermodule but I need a fixture and I can't meet up with my friend to get it, so I am disappointed and kind of sad I can't find any other good options. Also how much more par did the powermodule put out than the sunpowers?

Geisemann would probably have a fixture you would like. I don't know if korallenzucht makes fixtures but tbey are the other good t5 brand.

If anyone has any links to 10 or 12 bulb 36" fixtures that would help. Or even a more effect search name or engine. Most I can find from giesman is 6 bulb.

Aquarium specialty didn't seem to have them. I have two tek lights but I don't really look at them as high par sps lights. They are extremely flimsy as well which scares me and I don't think they make anything higher than 8 bulbs from what I remember.

Why can't you buy a 10 bulb powermodule mate. I can buy one in either yours or my voltage requirements through the German online store i buy my Deltec and Tunze equipment from.

That would be nice, I wasn't aware they made a 10 bulb 36" fixture. I wasn't aware they sold powermodule anymore either. Again any links would be cool, if you have to pm me that's fine.

The place Rodney mentioned is the one i use mate. The prices include 19% sales tax which comes off everything once you make an account and nominate your country.

Sweet thanks for the link guys I appreciate it. I am new to using t5s for my sps. Still wondering what other options I have. I would love to get a 12 bulb unit. Catalina was one option I thought but it seems there site is under construction? Isn't there another option, maybe an italian light or something? Hard to believe ati is really all that's left!

I do not NEED 10 to 12 bulbs but I would rather that many so I don't need to suppliment with LEDs. I like to keep acros with a lot of light and food so the more bulbs the better. Also I like the thick fat branched acros which ime do best under a lot of light. The tank is 3' by 2' by 19 high.
Basically I am just trying to learn what's out there because I am new to using t5s on my acro tank and I am liking them a lot for the smaller tank.

Does anyone know what the difference in performance between the sun power and powermodule 8 bulb 36" units? I can get a used powermodule or buy a new sunpower for the same price and not have to worry about replacing ballasts. Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I figured the sps peoples could help me out better.

I would think side to side, and front to back, that an ATI fixture with 8 bulbs would more than suffice, anything more would spill light. I have a tank with the same back to front, lit by 8 bulbs using tek elite fixture. I supplement with leds, only because I think it adds that extra pop. That said, I just made the yearly commitment to bulb replacement, it hurt my pocket, and that is 8 bulbs. Something to consider.... The ATI fixtures rock, and on that tank, anything will grow, serious power with phenomenal reflectors. Best of luck, oh, btw, I use KZ bulbs :) Bulb choice and spectrum choice helps considerably... :)

Check out giesemann matrixx 2 - I just received my 8x80, looks amazing. Havent used it as its for the new tank but quality looks tops.

To your other question, there is no significant performance difference between the sunpower and the powermodule. If you are going 8 bulb (and I agree that will be plenty to grow SPS all over your tank) the sunpower is the ticket unless you really want the sleek design of the PM.
