what are some fish that you will not try to keep again?

I told myself I would never try another Kleins B/f after my second time. Both times they were added to control aptasia and manjanos. But both times they ate everything but.
Plus they are very smart and it took me a week to catch them. Well.... I gave it another shot because I was desperate, the manjanos were appearing faster than I could zap them.
I bought one off of D/D and now after 5 weeks, no aptasia and 90% manjano free.
I'm worried she will go after other coral once she is through with the cleanup.
Last time I caught one in my trap I used acropora for bait.

My kleinii never went for corals. Just keep it busy. I used to stick food tablets to the tank every morning and afternoon. No problem. I'd be more worried about your angelfish. Tried a few and ALL went for my corals

Was this of new fish only? Did it pick on certain types or anything you added to the tank?

Did it turn on fish it had lived with for some time?

Well I got the fish because I thought it was pretty (it is). As it grew, it became progressively more aggressive to new fish, existing fish, and even me when I cleaned the tank.

Oh, I forgot. I will NEVER get a pair of clownfish again. In a smallish tank they are too aggressive, in a reef tank, they associate with corals and have/can damage them. I would ONLY keep them in a species tank with a fancy carpet (as Todd does).

I will never place any rabbit fish in a reef ate $1000 worth of zoos before I could catch it.
Never had an issue with a 6 lined love them one of my favorite fish
Never try another anthias I do not feed enough and they starve to death.
Also chromis are about the dumbest fish and swim into corals, pumps, and powerheads. All of mine died.
I am sticking to easy wrasses, gobies, and fish of that nature. Cheap easy to feed and very attractive.

For me, I won't own a Copperband Butterfly, a Cleaner Wrasse, or Purple Pseudochromis again. Butterfly because they just don't live, Wrasse because they should be left on our reefs (and don't live), and Pseudochromis because it was the meanest fish I've ever had.

Orange Spotted Rabitfish - he devoured colonies of zoas.. I couldn't feed it anymore than I was without fouling the tank completely... 10hrs of head to head netting... and he won... I ended up taking half my liverock rock out, turning all the lights out and one swoop later he was out.....

Not a fish, but I did spend 7hrs trying to catch a rather large fish eating Sally lightfoot.... nothing worse than a 3" crab outsmarting a couple people with college degrees... lol

Ive got to second that on anthias. I work out of town alot and its just to much trouble with feeding.

Put me down as another one who will never again mix any rabbitfish and zoanthids.

I will also never try another copperband butterfly. Even the ones I've had that ate mysis, perished within a year.I might try the C. marginalis though :)

Well my fox face is looking like a regret buy.
I notice a lot of missing tenticles on one of my pink pin cushions.
Its also been closed up a lot lately
Today I spotted the culprit, my fat foxface eating polyps like they were candy.
He is going to have to come out my coral tank , to be relegated to the FOWLR 4ft set up.

Yeah, and my Sohal is also a little psycho, he has been nicnamed Osama.
He does not like any other tang in the tank.
Hope he doesn't have to come out, because he is a real beautiful specimen.

Hippo Tang - toppled all my corals and frags especially SPS as soon as actinic lights are switched on.
Blue face wrasee - Killed all my snails and shrimps.Vociferous eater.

I won't own another $50+ fish. There are too many great cheap fish and besides every fish I bought over $100 died quickly, which is like losing 10 $10/fish.

Achilles Tang - Nothing but ick.
Viamingi Tang - Start off nice, then turns into a bully. (tired these 2 times)
Regal - I love these fish, but I would only try it again if I know for sure they are eating with gusto.

no more shrimp, cleaners, peppermint, corals, camels, etc. They eat all the crap that eats crap and steal food from anems. IMO they are only good for trigger food.
