What are these? (Eggs in a sack)

Frank and beans

Hi everyone,
It always amazes me how much you can find with a magnifying / jewelers eye!!
I found these eggs in my tank today. They are on the glass under the sand though. I have hermits and narcissus snails and these are the only two creatures I have that could lay these. No other snails. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Michelle

Cool. Don't know about hermit crabs but many snails lay eggs is specific patterns. Could try searching for that to help with ID

It's not hermit crabs or nassarius snails to my knowledge. Nassarius snails have a pattern of their eggs, not in a mass like that, and hermit crabs keep their eggs inside their (a dead snail's shell) shell.

Hermit Crab Eggs, the saltwater aquatic hermits do this too, this is just a good picture that I found

What kind of Nassarius snails do you have? The smaller Nassarius vibex snails lay small egg sacs like that I believe. I'm not exactly sure if that's what they are though. You might want to bring up some pictures online for comparison.
