What are these things? snowflake like thingies

Hey,
Yesterday I noticed some snowflake like forms on one of my rocks. Today they're gone. They were white/tan ish colored and looked like the right bottom one in this picture...


Any idea?

Hey, Nah, definitely not I'd have recognized those..
It seriously looked a LOT like those snowflakes.

If anything i was leaning more towards xenia's of some sort
like:

except they were flat on the rock.. about 5-6 of them.. and they were gone the next day (pretty sure they weren't there before as well)..

I've been browsing this inverts forum for months, it's nothing i've seen anyone post about just yet....

Somebody that the add a snowflake like thing with lots of branching arms I think they said it was a jelly fish

nah.. no brittle stars.. i have and recognize those.

I just saw that all of them were back.. on the same spot... maybe they are some kind of xenia, rather than an invert of some sort.. it's weird though.. there's no trace of them whatsoever when they're not there.. maybe their stem is in the rock? :-S

I wish i had a good camera...
