What are these yellow balls on my corals?

Hey guys,

I just noticed these yellow balls on some of the rock and corals. They don't seem to be affecting anything, but I am curious. They look like they have a foam/sponge texture.

Here are some pics. I tried to get them the best I could.

Hmmm. I think you are right. I googled it and they look alike. Audio found they are not bad for the tank. What do you guys think?

They are not taking over anything out affecting corals to my knowledge.

I would just brush them/baste them off the corals, but they are fine on the rocks etc.

Yeah definitely a sponge, I had some but they disappeared.

Cool. I've read that is a normal stage Reef tanks go through add they mature. Thank you all.
