what are they doing?!

I have two oc. clowns and have had them for four months now. They aren't too different in size but im pretty sure I know which one is the female because one has already submitted (as soon as they were introduced and they've swam, eaten and slept together since day one). my tank is 5 months old and two weeks ago I decide to take the plunge and buy them an anemone. Its a green bubble tip and although I've read about them not always hosting oc. clowns mine were interested as soon as i put it in. I placed it on the lowest rock on my aquascape and closest to where they always hang out and sleep. It tried a few nooks and holes and stayed on the rock for two nights. The first night the female(or my guess at least) slept in it. The next night the other clown joined its companion. The next day the anemone moved to the next rock over, found a spot it likes and has been there ever since. The clowns seem to know it has move and will occasionally go brush through it during the day but that's it. They sleep where they did before the anemone but the odd thing is the clowns will go and do the submit cease dance on the rock where the anemone first was. It looks as if they may be hitting their heads on the rock and seeing them doing it almost every day im worrying if it's going to hurt them. Otherwise, they are acting normal, eating like the little pigs they always have. All parameters are good. Im not sure if they're necessary but if they are just let me know and ill post them. Thanks for any help in advance!

They're probably clearing the rock so the female can lay her eggs. Maybe it's because it's where they feel safest in the tank, maybe because the flow is ideal there, or they can see better. They will probably never tell you. :-)

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about them hurting themselves. And as to the anemone, they'll probably move back in once this clutch has hatched. It'll give the anemone a break in the meantime and allow it to find it's happy spot in peace.

I didn't even think about her laying eggs. That seems very likely. Thank you! I figured they wouldn't be intentionally hurting themselves, I just like to be completely sure!
