Ok think I worded everything wrong. What I was trying to say is light does affect growth but every one thinks its a very big part of it. What im saying is the other elements play a bigger part in growth where alot of reefers just think it light only and slake off on the other importante stuff that is need and well . Like I said before light plays a small role because your lights stay on only 5 to 6 hour a day. Im talking about day light not atinic. So the rest of thouse hours your light are not on your corals are relaying on you cal and alk and mag to be just right. So out of the 24h you only use 5 to 6 hour of day light to help with growth thats it the rest of the growth process also happens when lights are off. I hope that people understand now what I was trying to say. I think my comparing the wild reef throw off alot of people here. Im just saying alot of reefer dont focus on the other needs that are more in play in a reef tank.
