what bulb to use?

this is my first MH purchase and i decided on a 175W SE Retro fit setup and now there are just too many bulbs to choose from. I am looking for a crisp white color but with some bluish tint but want something with good par (probably 10k-15K). What are your suggestions and what should i stay away from? I would like to stay under $100.

well all the tests are based on 250W...will the results be comparitive to 175W

on a 10g I had did great with a xm 20k, it was perfect to my taste color wise and not need to supplement it and corals love it,
