What came first, the anemone or the anemonefish?

Hey Guys,
I re-setup my tank, and in this iteration of the tank I am more thank likely going to get a mate for my Ocellaris, and also a nem (probably RBTA) for them to try and host in.

What should go in the tank first, the fish or the nem? And for how long before I introduce the other?

Also, my plan is to take my current fish and put it with a small black ocellaris in the main tank at the same time. Does this make sense? My clown has been "by itself", with no other clowns, for over a year, so I am pretty sure it turned female (She is also really mean to me). I figure by putting them in the main tank at the same time, the initial aggression will be a little bit less since neither of them "own" the tank yet. Thoughts?

I would do the fish first so it could becomeused to the tank and then see the anemone comeing into the tank.

In my opinion I would introduce the anemone first, so that it can get established and you can be sure its doing ok.
If you place the fish in first they will "host" to something else a corner, coral, etc. so if they first see an anemone they may seek it out for protection quicker then having to leave their other hosted spot, if that makes any sense:) Good luck:)

Thanks everyone, the more i think about it, I think that introducing the nem first will be the best bet.

I have been reading a book on clowns, and as lady pointed out, it seems once clowns host, it takes a long time for them to move.
