what can i feed a 2" Crocea?

Live Phyto is the best(DT's,Phyto feast) you could bowl feed or just feed the whole tank.when it over 3"you really don't need to feed any more.

my lfs actually is out of DT's they say for a couple weeks possibly!(i just called them)
They said i could substitute with a frozen bioplankton that they have.
Sound ok?

Ohh....and i have Two Little Fishes powder PhytoPlan and Sweetwater's Zoplankton(Would one of those be a good choice?)

zooplankton is to large for the clams to eat.they like food in the 4 to 40 micron range.so for now i would say the two little fishes stuff.but for that i would just feed the whole tank

thanks mbbuna
ohh by the way are they ok with a strong flow(not a direct flow, just a high flow front corner area on sand ??

Take the clam out of the display...put it in a bowl with tank water...add enough phyto to tint the water..then wait for the water to clear.

Cheers,
grimmjohn

about 20 min is all you really need, and for the flow as long as the clams mantle isn't flapping it ok
