What clams/mussels/ect actually do well in aquaria?

I know there are random little mollusc critters that hitch-hike and then do just fine, but does anyone know where to buy some of those? Is there a regularly available species that normally does okay? Or is there something I can find in Galveston that would work?
I'm basically looking for any molluscs that aren't capable of moving around. Clams, oysters, ect. No scallops, they dart around and bash into things. I see flame scallops for sale, but those will starve. The usually available clams are neat enough, but I'm looking for more of a clam-clam rather than a rainbow-clam.
Thorny oysters, perhaps? Or- I know I've seen jewel box clams do fine.

This site: gulf-view.com is "Diver direct from gulf".

On his species list page he has 2 items that you would maybe want: #28 Jewel Box clam and #29 Turkey Wing clam.

Doesn't have a price listed, and doesn't appear to be in stock. Maybe if orders come in, when they dive, they'll look for them.

Several places have thorny oysters, some call them spiny oysters, so search for that too.
