What close up lense for Nikon D80????

Keep in mind with a Nikon vs a Cannon a 105 nikon is going to end up being like 150 because of the difference in the location of the optical sensor in the camera body vs the original film body.
 
I can vouch for the 105mm VR.
I don't do a lot of reef macro any more but here are some recent with the 105mm coupled with 1.7x TC on a D3 body.

Im using a Nikon d50 with the 18-55mm kit lens and a Quantaray 52mm +10 macro lens its more like a magnifying glass filter thing that just screws on the end of the camera lens. Its a cheap solution that works for $20 you just cant be very far from what you want to take a picture of (about 4 inches at most) and i think it take better pictures of things that aren't in my aquarium like flowers or bugs.
