What colour would you call this hammer?

I am still learning about hammers. I purchased this big one recently what colour would you call this one? Not the green ones in photo.

This is the species you see sold as the ultra orange hammers. I have had a few and due to being walls, have had no such luck. They are more pink/peach under whites, but can be more peach/orange under blues. Sweet piece-yours?

Thanks. Yes it is mine. LFS owner sold to me as orange but I guess in my mind orange is a very different colour so just want some confirmation from fellow forum members.

Wow! For the prices listed above, those colors better be vivid. If that is an orange hammer, the color looks extremely washed out to me. Maybe the blues will make it pop, but I hope you didn't spend a ton on it.

That's still way too much IMO, but then again, $190 might be peanuts for some people. Beautiful coral one way or the other though. GL. :)

I'd say peach based on the picture. But colorhexa says:

#a16575 color description : Mostly desaturated dark pink.

#cc93ab color description : Slightly desaturated pink.

#f3b4c7 color description : Very soft pink.

Unsure, just personal experience as well as knowing and talking with distributers and store owners. The majority do not survive in our tanks and should be left in the ocean IMO.

I had an orange wall hammer last about a year. It looked good the first 9 months & went downhill the remaining 3 months. I won't do another one & will stick with branching hammers from now on.
