What coral cannot keep with angelfish?

I am thinking to add some anglefish into my empty tank. I need some input from experience hobby to see what corals I can keep together with anglefish like: flame, golden, snowflake, flagfins...

I hear it NOT to keep acan, acanthophilia, lobo, brain...with angelfish. Any other?

You'll have to be more specific about the advice you're looking for. Each angel is very specific, even if they are from the same family. For example, Golden Angels tend to nip at corals less than Eibli even though they are from the same family. I'd suggest honing in on the specific angel you're interested in and then asking for advice there. Otherwise, the advice will likely be "œit depends"

Good point.

At the moment I am thinking to keep these: flame, golden, goldflake, regal and emperor.

fwiw I have a flame and a flameback. Both are fine with softies, and a bit patchy about snacking on some kinds of sps/lps. They haven't killed anything, but I need to be careful about where I put some types of corals and I'm sure I'd see faster growth without their "help."

In the end though, since I really like having them in the tank it's worth the tradeoff.

Tip: my clowns will somewhat defend the area near their anemones, so putting the corals that the angels like to nip near the anemones helps a bit.

My flame , flame back will eat acans and Millie's

Not sure witch one is doing it thougb

I have a lot of Angels they don't pick on my sps but I don't have much softies or Lps. I have frogspawn and hammers and they don't touch it. My emperor I had to give away cause it got to large. But my bandit, regal, gold flake, multiple bar all don't care for the sps. Zoas on the other hand I found to be a good snack for them. Lost 50 polyp Rasta over night.

I have a regal and it LOVES acans. Doesn't touch anything else... for now.

Of course, every fish is different, but sharing my experience.

I really really want either a flame angel or coral beauty for my new 70g build, but I do have a collection of acans so I'm so conflicted. I've read some had good luck while others didn't. I've ask read that if you get them small and feed them plenty it helps prevent the issue. Any truth to that?

Imo acans and angels do not go

You might get lucky for a month or even longer. But then one day it will decide to eat it and they will be gone very quickly.

I love my angel and I think the flame is one of the most beautiful fish. I am I willing to not keep acans

I've been lucky, current Coral Beauty only decimated some God of War polyps but has left everything else alone including my Acans and going on about 2 years now.

Acans are candy to all Angels eventually I believe. It make take a year or so but eventually their sweet tooth will call to them.

As stated above imo the coral beauty is least likely out of all the dwarfs to pick

My flame and flame back will pick while my coral beauty i haven't noticed eat or pick at anything
