Bought a Halloween Urchin and some Trocus snails for the DT.

Today I received 2 filter replacement kits for RODI (ordered 2 by mistake) new fuge light filter socks, sock holder (for the new sump I am building), tongs, Gloves, (got stung once),
drip acclimation kit and waiting for MP10 wes my better half ordered for me.

Finally got my tank fired up around 4:45 today. Shut the pumps off when we went to family events. Came back fired them back up. Here's hoping to an uneventful night!

checked the tracking on my skimmer I have ordered,, it shows as delivered.........to an address in Las Vegas, NV.............too bad I live in Burlington, NC.....I need another cold beverage..or three

Set up my RO/DI last niggt and did my first 40% water change and added some new sand to the bed. Cleaned the skimmer and jsut about everything else. Now its time for football and ribs.

Dumped 5 gallons of RO water on the floor because my ATO line came out of the sump.

shut tank down to hook in sump, did all the plumbing from the bulkheads to where sump is,, reached in the bag and I am missing a union,,, got to love it,, another delay

hung my new lights. The legs it came with are now out of my way and I am thrilled. I almost used shackles with the chain, but ended up using quick links and also a caribiner to make easier height adjustment and provide some redundancy. It is adjustable from 1 inch above the tank all the way up to the ceiling. That's why I went with chain instead of wire rope.
