what did you guys did or buy for your tank today

Today is 20% off Monday (every monday) at local fish store.
I been watching a nice med size power brown tank there for about 5 weeks now . Not sure why Nobody bought IT Beautiful healthy fish..
So got him and a Very big Bright blue mushroom Rock. The mushroom rock is prob 8x8 inches with 15 or so nice size mushrooms on it... I did not QT This fish as i know the tank it was in at the LFS . 5 Weeks i been watching it NO ISSUES So its swimming Among my other Tangs and seems to trying to push the Yellow tank off its (im the boss ) Throne.....

I just came back from collecting 30 gallons of NSW and I would swear this stuff gets heavier every time I collect it. Normally I don't do much to it except heat it and add a little ASW because the salinity here in New York is low for some reason but it is very turbid with all sorts of black particles in it so I had to diatom filter it. I only had a very little bit of diatom powder on hand so I didn't do as good a job as I would have liked but now it is crystal clear and I am just waiting for it to heat up before I dump it in. I even checked the nitrates and they are zero, calcium is 440.
I took it from the Coast Guard Station near Jones Beach. Near here.

Well, it was yesterday but I bought my first frag yesterday. It was only $20 which I thought was a good deal.

Took every piece of rock out of the 240 and rescaped it.

This i need to do.. But i am going to get something to sit the rock on then put sand around the front half of the tank. I hate sand under rock work.. Right now We have all bare bottom with a wave pump at the bottom on each end to keep it clean.. The whole bottom is coralline covered thou.
What do you think would be good to do this with.. it needs to be about 1 to 1 1/2 thick and Cheap.. always cheap hehe.

On Topic.
Today is Water change day on the 72 bay Front tank and we are going to scrub some algae off the rock work and re arrange some plants. This one is a Planted freshwater tank...
Also need to do some Glass cleaning on the Reef tank
