This is my first attempt at a saltwater aquarium. About two weeks ago I put about 40 pounds of fiji live rock in my 29gal tank. Attached to one of the pieces of live rock was a clam. I thought is was dead, because I didn't know any better. However, it just opened up yesterday and has remained open today. I have nothing else in the tank accept for some feather dusters that were attached to the live rock as well. My question is what to I feed the clam and the feather dusters. I haven't added anything to the water other than calcium, iodine, strontium & molybdenum using kent marine products.
my test kits yeild the following:
SG 1.024
PH 8.1
Ammonia 0 mg/l
Nitrite 0 mg/l
Nitrate 0 mg/l
Calcium 380 mg/l
Phosphate 0 mg/l
iodine .06 mg/l
KH 9
Best regards,
Scott :strooper:
