What do Clove Polyps Look like when they Spread?

Hi, I'm new to Reef Central and to the Saltwater Hobby. I was looking at my yellow clove polyps today and noticed something long and stringy growing out of it onto the live rock. I was wondering if this is simply the clove polyp spreading? Or is it something I need to get out of my tank? I'm not too sure what clove polyps look like when they spread.

yes it is... they are growing up my glass and anywhere else out of control

I have them growing on other soft corals now without irritating them
