What do I need in my 150??

I am really interested in purchasing a Tunze. What and how many do I need in my 150 reef ( LPS now, slowly advancing to SPS)? Can I keep the RIO pumps it has now as a supplement ?

What are the tank dimensions? What type of LPS, more favia types or more euphyllia types?

i know this is a older post so sorry on the late responce.
i would go with 2 6100 and a 7095 controler. i replaced 6 mj 1200's in my 150 with that set up and the mj's don't even compair to the tunzi's i am very pleased. (they will rock the tank so much that i can get 1-1/2 wave!)
Question---Can I keep the RIO pumps it has now as a supplement ?
IMO you need to pitch the rio's ASAP. I have seen them go bezerk all too often and melt the entire tank down when they fail!
if you search the forums you will find documented cases of this no bs. infact my lfs will not even service a tank if it has a rio on it. so save yourself a heart ache and get those out of your system. if you cant afford to purchase all Tunzi pumps at once use a maxi jet or ANYTHING else.. im not tring to down your set-up im sure the tank is beautiful, just tring to save you from a potential disaster.

Right now, I dont have any SPS. I would like to get into SPS. As for LPS, I have some open brains, galaxy, frogspawn, long ten. plate. I have too many leathers lol.

Thanks for the advice on the RIOS. Im dumping them ASAP. A LFS mentioned to me I can get away with 2 6080. I would like to do an even distribution of SPS,LPS and lethers and polyps in my tank.
Can I do 2 6080's or is that not gonna be sufficient for what Im looking for.?

I would go with 6000's, 6080's cannot be controlled and many LPS are sensitive to high flow, you will want the ability to control the flow.
