Quote: The AquaController III Pro comes equipped with 4 TTL level external inputs which can be used to activate/deactivate equipment in response to an external stimulus. Applications for these inputs include connection to water level float switches, water pressure and flow sensors, and water on the floor sensors.

Since I work away from home a lot I'd really like to have the ability to monitor things like this. What do I need to get to do it? Sump level and water on the floor that is... I just got the AquaController III unit.

TIA
Chris

Most get our minidin 8 cable which is then connected to the I/O connector of the AquaController. The wires on the other end of the cable are then connected to a dry contact float switch. The float switch wires connect to the ground (pin 8) and input #1 (pin 1) of the controller. No external power supply is required.

OK thanks Curt.... I actually just ordered one from Neptune.. Man I am going to have this thing totally under control!!! :D

So is it possible to get emailed or something if my water level gets low in the sump??? That would be totally awesome.

BTW.. I was told that the controller is difficult to set up. I found it really easy. Maybe because I work as a programmer but... Nice unit!! I have a few more things that I want to get setup but all in all its going very well so far.

Yes, you can configure the controller to email you if the water level is too high/low. Just add a:

If Switch1 CLOSED THEN ALM ON

or similar to your program.
