What do I pair up my new maroon clownfish with?

Hi I bought a large single Female Maroon, she is almost black (if not) which is quiet rare I'm told.
I am thinking about fixing her up with a proper date so they can hopefully start breeding.
I know the rep. maroons have, but I was think in the line of maybe introducing her to something like a black saddleback or something like that hoping they will form a couple.
Has anybody tried this?
I hope somebody can give me some insight to if it is a do or a don't.

I know it is not the best pix of here, but she is in a tank which is getting treated with Revive so she is kinda yellow at the moment ;=)

It's not rare. It means she's old. They get darker as they get older. How is the striping all the way around? As they get older the middle stripe will become incomplete.

She won't mate with a saddleback. Saddlebacks are notoriously skittish and she wouldn't stand for that. You'd just have a dead saddleback.

People have mated them with perculas before. An interesting match would be with a Fire Clown, from the Tomato complex. Not sure if they'd mate, but the fire clowns are almost as aggressive as the maroons. The thing with Maroons is that they aren't the same genus as any of the other clowns so mating them with anything but another maroon is unlikely. Possible, but unlikely.

its a very hard thing getting a maroon to pair with anything even another maroon, unless there paired off at a very young age.there highly dominant u can try anything, like stated above a fire clown as there known for being buligerant also.but your better off keeping her single.there is to many risks involved with getting them hooked up.just my opinion.
