What do you do wit your old PC bulbs?

I replace my power compact bulbs before they burn out 10-12 months. Does anyone use old bulbs for other lighting until they burn out? I know you are supposed to dispose of them properly but they are stacking up because I don't remember where you take them.
I guess you could sell them to hippies that grow "medical" marijuana.

Nah they like MH bulbs...

call the waste dump on roseville road, they may be able to take them.

Make a one time purchase of a ballast/reflector, and use the 'old' bulbs to light your refugium. I always plan a tank ahead of time this way. Saves a lot of money.

That sounds good. Thanks Matt. It's a shame to take them to the dump station when they still work, just at lower output.

I was gonna suggest offerin it up for someone who might have a FO tank, but if you have a fuge then there ya go
