Besides 2 part solution if not using a Ca reactor.....
I'm just getting back into the hobby, and I'm waiting for my tank to be finished and delivered. One of the mistakes I've made in the past was keeping a very low nutrient tank. I kept mostly SPS but had little fish and made the mistake of not feeding enough for the SPS to thrive with beautiful coloration. I assumed great lighting, a good level of Ca and DKH were all I needed.
That sad, for this tank I plan on having a heavy bioload and have an ATB 840 skimmer to handle it for my 100g tank.
What exactly are you guys feeding the tank with and how often are you dosing this?
I always used to use flake food for fish, but perhaps I should use something like Rod's?
What about things such as aquavitro fuel? Is it worth it if you are feeding the tank enough? What about AA's?
For this tank I'm not using a reactor....will be dosing 2 part with a BM dosing pump, and plan on doing the MB7/Vodka thing.
Thanks for the help guys. I really want this tank to be successful, I believe I know where I went wrong in the past and trying to correct that.
