What do you feed to sea slugs?

OK, I just did the 'dumb newbie' impulsive buy at the lfs. She called it a purple sea slug. It is purple with a white elongated circle stripe and white around the edges. The closest I could find was a Chromodoris Macfarlandi nudibranch. I've got plenty of LR coverer with coraline algae. What do these things eat?

If it's really a Chromodoris the diets are unknown but presumed to be sponges.

They are also EXTREMELY toxic and can nuke your tank when they die.

Most have a life span of only a few months.

A very risky purchase.

Nudi's are usually very specific feeders.. Well they pretty much only eat a specific food for each type. I have never heard of any Nudi's eating anything we put in our tanks for them.

Best bet if you can is return it. I am sure there is something out there that can catch your eye in the same way. :) and will last longer as well. :D

I returned it and got a gold striped maroon clown. Thanks for all your help and saving me from a possible disaster!
