what do you feed your acans?.

picked up some acan lords yesterday, and i was just curious as to what every one feeds there Acans.

i use to feed mine brine, mysis or cyclopeeze 2-3 times a week, haven't fed them in 4 months and they're fine

did you notice them grow faster with feeding?.

I feed frozen mysid. They love the stuff and definitely grow faster when fed well. Hth.

We like finely chopped squid & krill

Mine eat just about anything they can grab I feed mine mysis shrimp and cyclo-eez. I use a syringe and squirt it on them while they have their feeders out at night!

I like to vary their diet so i also feed them squid chunks, prime reef etc.

Oh yes they do.My lords have been going strong now that i feed them.I Feed mine a mixture of clams and mollusks.I also through in some cyclopeeze,seaweed,and fresh shrimp.I chop it up in a blender and freeze it till i need it.All my acans love it along with my fish and other lps corals.
