what do you feed your larvae?

Yes live rotifers. You pretty much have to culture them yourself. Which means you need phyto and lots of it. I feed for a couple weeks usually.

I think that I had read somewhere that you can purchase rot "eggs" just like you can purchase brine shrimp cysts. Has anyone ever done this, or do you just purchase live? Considering the current temps up this way, it isn't the best time to be getting any live shippments.

You can purchase rotifer cysts, but you still have to feed them phyto for them to hatch and reproduce. I think you can use something called instant algae instead of phyto, but I just use phyto. Phyto is pretty easy to culture.

After a week or so, baby brine shrimp are usually used.
