What do you feed your SPS corals?

I feed coral smoothie. I don"t see any change in polyp extention after feeding? I also do not see any difference from not feeding at all?

Someone told me that stuff was junk. That was from a friends experience. Try something else if your not getting a good response from it.

That is not necessarily true. If you keep your water stripped down with Zeovit or biopellets, your SPS can starve/pale/bleach without feeding. Or at best, you won't get the growth and coloration you want.

True. Thats why you keep good water paramaters..wich is water that is not striped down by Zeovit. You can keep a buetifull tank with amazing color and growth without any of that fancy stuff..just light, water changes, stable temp and CA and ALK additions are all you need.

Jenzifer, as a experiment could you try feeding oyster feast 2 time a week and see what will happen. I would say positive things for your coral growth and color. You can thank me later.

How long have you been using it and how often?

I have been using coral smoothie but only a couple times a week. Severalhave recomended that I up this because I have ULN's so I started it once a day this weekend and feed my fish once a day as well. I can tell you my fish love it. It even wakes them up when I put it in after the lights go out.
