awww... you guys are really killing it here. a side note from jason's better half, aka, me: constructive criticism doesn't include nonsense such as "clean your glass," fifteen times.
it's like landscaping... some people edge their lawns, use chems to make their grass really green and plant their flowers in nice neat little rows. we aren't those people. we are the "naturalization" kind of people... the kind that enjoy the purple algae that grows on our glass. it's not dirty, it's natural. like jas mentioned above, it's not bad algae, or slime or anything gross.
we just re-aquascaped and took an buttload of rock out of the tank to give us more room for coral, and our fish more room to swim. we have plenty of rock in the sump, thanks for the head's up mccliffy. and you are also right about the lighting, mccliffy. i've been begging him to get some actinics for awhile - i think it would really make the colors pop.
IMO, he could have chosen better pics to post, usually i'm the one to do that =) and like he said, our coral and fish are beautiful - which is the important part. who cares if we have coraline on our glass... i mean, apparently you guys do. =)
