I want my corals to grow to the point to where I cannot control the coraline, but I don't think it works for the pics posted of the first tank.

Having a background is not beneficial to the reef if your looking at the reef's overall health. It's better to leave it plain glass so it reflects more light.
Wow my glass was clean when I posted my 90 growout in the SPS forum recently and I didn't get this many hits!!! Controversy must sell. I will have to repost and headline it with "does this shirt make me look fat" or tape centerfolds on the back glass...or something. [Ya know...keeping with the whole dirty glass theme]
pfhh hahaha that is to funny! I'm sory but I got to go with the croud on this one clean the glass on all sides. Clean glass makes the tank look a milion times better. Your corals look good and I like the scape it leaves tons of room for your coral to grow. I would move the frag rack to the side of the tank if you insist on keeping it. Gel super glue dose wonders for holding frags in place tell they encrust.
