what do you guys think?

so on my 90 gal. I have a 15 gallon sump,2 coralife super skimmer 65's, a fluval 405, and 2 maxi jets. is that good enough or too much?

Personally I would probably sell the two small skimmers, the fluval and get a bigger skimmer. There fluval offers little value in salt water, you can run carbon/phos in it but really just as easily use a filter bag.
Im assuming the mj1200's are used for flow? how many gph is the return? You will need much more flow for the tank if the mj's are the only powerheads.

+1 on dwinter

ditch the canister filter for sure its not doing you any good. seeing how you already have the 2 small skimmers i would keep them. I would set up a 20g long sump, make it a traditional setup, one end input, middle area, out put on other end. run a skimmer at both ends sandwiching live rock and a DSB with macro algae. run carbon bag in the input area and a filter sock.

or 86 that idea, just run both skimmers in the 15g sump, put a bag of carbon in there and call it a day

or 86 that idea and ditch the canister, ditch the skimmers and fill your sump up with LR sitting on a DSB and use a fliter sock to catch large debris

yea the maxijets are used for flow and the fluval out and the sump out acts as a flow also
return of out on sump is 600gph I think.

I meant my maxijet powerheads are used for flow i'n the tank and the water that also comes out of the return of the sump(the water that comes out the other end) is used for flow also. the gph of the return is 600 I think. got it now? but I've Been using a fluval for so long and my tank has been good. So your saying get rid of the fluval and just use the sump and the skimmers?

Are the MJ's Modded? If they are then that is plenty of flow, if they are not then the flow from two MJ's are not enogh for a 90 gallon tank. Recommend getting a two little fishes reactor for carbon and getting rid of the Fluval.

Um, does anyone know what the OPer wants to keep in the tank? That will determine what "is enough" and what isn't.

If the MJ are not modded, then you need a much, much more flow like 2 x 6105 or 6205 tunzes depending on your resources--you cannot have too much flow.
And the fluval should be used for carbon only.
You need a much bigger sump, like 40g, then you can have a fuge.
And a Bubble King 160 would not hurt.

ive always thought a perfect sump for a 90-125 would be a 40L if you have the room. its a 48x13x16 and its cheap! you could have a 20g fuge sandwiching in and out sections...ahhh the sweetness!

+ on the more flow. you can have too much flow, but its hard lol. on the cheap i would go on espay and get a 2 koralia 3's for your DT thats 850x2 for the win! prolly 45 bones at most, i would use the MJs too have you some nice flow going round

wait how do you mod maxijets? there not modded and I just bought a double GFO carbon reactor. a 40 gallon sump would be amazing but I would have to cut the wood on my stand and make a big hole. then it would be really hard to replace.

no, no, no sir! no cutting........just build a new stand :)

I know, I have great ideas :} youre most welcome

yea no cutting but if I get a new stand I would have to take all my live rock which is perfectly aquascaped just the way I like it and all the water out also which is very annoying.
