better in the fuge than in the display. I had a bunch in my previous fuge and never seen any in the display. Then i took the fuge offline for a while and i had a explosion of them in the display. So when i setup the new fuge i took some the rock pieces that were covered from the display put them in the fuge. I have been killing the remaining nems in the display with kalk.
Maybe if i give em a place to grow they will grow in the fuge and not the display again.
so to answer your question no i would rather not have them at all any place in my tank.

But He still hates me in the tank. It makes it scary to do work in the display, they are called "Surgeon" fish for a reason right.
Mine doesn't fight with other fish or bother me but it won't take any nonsense from the others either. I think it hired the tomatoe clown to mug me.She makes me bleed.Sneaky hits me in tender spots between the fingers when I'm not looking. I beat her up with a tooth brush from time to time to back her off. I have to wear gloves when she's in a protective mood for her eggs.FYI

I keep trying to change my setup to somehow include my tank, green plants and my bird but I am constantly reminded by my wife that one of the leading causes of parrot death is drowning. I know you're just joking but I'm still looking for a way to do it! Maybe egg crate all the way across the top.
