Those are awesome man. Where did you get em? I live out by Sac and I frequent all the lfs there that is why I am surprised, I have never seen them here.

Colby

im sure he knows where he bought them i was wondering who the breeder was
most come from TMC in england i think

gsmguy...
I thought these clowns were coming from o.r.a. I was almost certain of it. You say they are coming from tmc?

Two of the most unique clowns I have seen to date. It is a surprise that they weren't euthanized when the breeder realized they were going to be misbarred. To be honest though I am glad they weren't. I have German Shepherds and I enjoy a lot of the more washed colors that you get from mixing the solid whites with the black and tans. This of coarse is not the "breed standard" but who really gives a whoot as long as the owner enjoys the way they look.

From the looks of this it looks like the semantics gurus are going to have another color morph to add to their vocabulary }:c).

These arent a new morph, they are snowflake ocellaris clowns. They have been around, nothing new to add to any vocabulary.

well i dont know 100% but i beleive ora does not produce snowflake just picasso but i could be wrong i was told that by a reliable source

Tropical marine center is the breeder in england that produces most snowflakes i think
i cant search the site right now need to get around to paying for RC i guess

gsmguy , the fish store where i got it from don't know where they came from, or they don't want me to know lol. but the store where i got it from was absolutleyfish.com.
and thanks all for the comments.

Thanks for the update. I am obviously uninformed.

I believe that is correct.
As far as I know, Quality Marine in Los Angeles (a wholesaler) is the only U.S. outlet for TMC captive bred clowns. That includes the snowflakes, their black ocellaris and their standard CB clowns.
FWIW: When you order from LiveAquaria's standard menu, the organisms are shipped directly from Quality Marine. When you order from the Diver's Den, the organisms are shipped from the Midwest and have various origins, including ORA.
