I have two pumps coming tomorrow and a controller on order as soon as Premium Aquatics gets them in I will have it. These are going in a 180 SPS Reef with two clams and a deep sand bed. My question I am going to have one on each end. I also have 600gph coming from my returns in each corner and a 1200gph coming in the one side from my chiller. Would two more of these pumps be to much for the tank? How many are recommended for a tank this size?

Four is more appropriate for a 400gal tank, with 2 you will be just fine.
