since i added a hang on fuge is it possible to have to many pods in tank, i mean i have a cleaner wrasse and six line wrasse and still when the lights are out and moonlights on wow. There is a serious infestations of pods in my tank when light go out i mean freaky big time, mostly amphipods, is there a such thing as to many or should i just let it go and eventually my little six line will get bigger and take care of them. Any one else have this going on.

Populations are self-limiting. If there are too many for the tank to support some will die. No such thing as too many.

they suck if they are not controlled through natural means. good luck

If you have sticks then you are ok

Taste like chicken..........very small chicken........the kind you find in your bellybutton when you clean it out

Your sixline will keep them in check...they are stealthy and efficient pod eating machines.

My lil nano has its fair share with no fuge. Infact I have a few empty molts floating in the surface today which is something new for my tank after several years of observation....I think they are good

copepods, isopods, amphipods:
love 'em, hate 'em, love 'em

You asked for my opinion!

Is anyone in St. Louis culturing copepods? Please pm me!
