What does it mean when a clown shakes?

Well today i noticed..One of the clowns would swim real close to the other and then shake really fast and almost vibrate looking. Like it would get infront of it and do it. Is this some kinda mating thing or something. I paired these 2 up little over a week ago.

They are figuring out their roles, basically. The one doing the shaking is the submissive fish while the one being shaken at will be the dominant fish. More than likely the dominant fish will be female.

the one shaking is proly the smaller of the 2 this is normal and how they show that they know the other one is the dominate one

They are dancing...and the larger ones realizes that the smaller one can't dance...but out of pity she will let him hang around...LOL

my black clown, who is double the size of my orange clown always shakes at the small orange one, and the small orange one never shakes at the big black clown??? answer me tht one
