What else affects coral? Don't know why mine aren't well.

My coral were all thriving forever, now they are looking a little puny. I have a frogspawn, colt, goniopora and xenia that have seen better days. All of my water params are fine - ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phosphates, alk, and calcium are good. What gives? I haven't had any change in light, so I don't know what else could be affecting them.

xenia likes a little iodine. For the others, I'm not sure. How OLD are your lights? They start expiring at 6-8 months, depending on type, actinic the earliest. And have you done your weekly water changes of 10%?
If you have, skip the iodine: the trace elements come in with that. If you haven't, do.

Don't know how old the main mH light is. The two actinics are brand new. Think that it's maybe because I need to get a new mH bulb?

And yes, been doing water changes.

78 is ok. I would want that to be the low in the morning rather than the high at night. Sometimes the cooler water will have this affect on corals. Not really bad for them, they just won't expand as much. JME.

Iodine is not a factor. Unless some new evidence has been discovered. What are your
parameters exactly....you don't have to answer if you don't want to
