what glue PVC to Acrylic?

Hello.
Just curious, what kind of glue or Cement can I use to join a piece of Acrylic tubing to a piece of PVC tubing?

weldon 16 or weldon 40

40 will work better especially if you need strength, but it is more involved. It is a two part system.

What are you attaching to what?

I'm going to be building a Kalk Reactor built out of PVC and Acrylic tubing.

I've done straight PVC, but this time, I have access to some acrylics tubing.

From another reefer's website, who has a DIY Kalk reactor, he states:
"I found that for low pressure applications that you can use Home Depot's PVC/CPVC/ABS cement and primer"

Would this work?

Does Weldon 40 glue to PVC?

I'm sure its possible, but for something like this it would be worth while to find some Weldon. I'd call some local plastic shops, they are bound to have it. I tried ordering it before but the shipping was rediculous since it is considered hazardous.

They have decent prices. They quote $15.88 for a 5 oz tube delivered. I have recieved shipping prices only for over $20.00 from others I've called. I ended up buying local. Some people are charging over $20.00 to ship "hazmat".
