What hard coral is this

To me it looks like the skeleton of a lps . It also looks like the pic was taken with the rock and coral out of the water ? Can u get a better pic ? And is this taken out of the water ? If u can let us know a little more we can hopefully help out

Looks like a trumpet coral (LPS) in bad shape from that pic. It does look like the pic was taken with it out of the water. It's always easier to ID in the water than out.

Looks like it was under a rock thay has been flipped over. Tubastrea sp. would be my guess, second guess favia sp.

It is out of water because That's the best pic I could get but here's one for u That's in water

hard to tell by pic but Id guess either a bleached acan or favia...more likely a type of Favia species based on the sweepers.

i think it is a trumpet coral as well. similar in type to candy cane corals. they are generally considered lps corals.

could be in the rhizangiidea family...its very difficult to tell by the pic as to the coralite structure and polyps that come out.

My first message must have gone to the space, but I too was trying to say earlier that it's probably a coral from the family Rhizangiidae...
