What have you done with your tank lately?

I had all my clams die in the past 2 weeks... thanks clam disease....

last night i cleaned my glass, cleaned skimmer, took carbon out, dosed some antibiotics for my sick fish, and added fresh water because my ATO is broken

Just added reeflink yesterday, got light online quick was little pain to get vortech online but now i can control from computer, tablet, and my note 4.

im about to drain mine and start over im having more issues than ive ever had. fighting bubble algae and mistirous nitrate spikes makes me wana give up alltogether. now since i had a nitrate spike up to 30ppm my fish are now showing signs of ick after never having it. im thinking starting over would just be less stressful at this point. and manual removal of bubble algae is not an option all of the rock is covered almost completely.

Get some emerald crabs, they go nuts for bubble algae.

I was never lucky enough to find emeralds that would reliably eat the stuff. I finally won my battle with bubble algae with nitrate reduction, manual removal, and a yellow tang that loved the stuff.

I redid my scape, added calcium, mixed more calcium for dosing, glued some random frags that I found, accidentally fragged my favorite coral ... Again..., and tonight I will be replacing all of my filters and resins on my RO/DI unit. Then maybe a water change. Then I might do some laundry

Just took apart my sump, cleaned it, and re-arranged a few things. took out the plastic tubing and replaced it with PVC on my overflow....getting less noise now, need to fine tune it a bit more

also thinking about picking up a 6-line today

and only cut myself badly twice

Building stand pipes for a herbie drain! Building stand for top off can over the new water changing station. Ordering 1 1/2" gate valves for drains into the sump. Next weekend moving the 56 into the basement and placing the 125 into its final location and finish all plumbing! Leak test here I come!

I caught an Eibli that was eating my zoas. I had to catch my trigger first, and whenI was getting him out of the skimmer section of my sump he jumped into the fuge section that has about 250-300 lbs of rock. So this morning I had to take out all the rock and catch him so I could put him back into the DT. Did a 35g WC while I had the system turned off too.

Also got a ATS going and after a few days is already showing discoloration which gives me hope that it will grow some major algae and start getting my No3 down.

Did you rough up the screen very much? What lighting are you using?
