Placed my painted sump stand in place. Placed sump on stand. Finishing plumbing and then it's on to a wet test!
im about to drain mine and start over im having more issues than ive ever had. fighting bubble algae and mistirous nitrate spikes makes me wana give up alltogether. now since i had a nitrate spike up to 30ppm my fish are now showing signs of ick after never having it. im thinking starting over would just be less stressful at this point. and manual removal of bubble algae is not an option all of the rock is covered almost completely.
I was never lucky enough to find emeralds that would reliably eat the stuff. I finally won my battle with bubble algae with nitrate reduction, manual removal, and a yellow tang that loved the stuff.Get some emerald crabs, they go nuts for bubble algae.
Nice scrubber!
What are you using to drive it? Off a manifold or separate pump?
I caught an Eibli that was eating my zoas. I had to catch my trigger first, and whenI was getting him out of the skimmer section of my sump he jumped into the fuge section that has about 250-300 lbs of rock. So this morning I had to take out all the rock and catch him so I could put him back into the DT. Did a 35g WC while I had the system turned off too.
Also got a ATS going and after a few days is already showing discoloration which gives me hope that it will grow some major algae and start getting my No3 down.

Did you rough up the screen very much? What lighting are you using?
