What have you done with your tank lately?

my 40b somehow overflowed between saturday night and friday morning, fired all my electrical cords, dumped about 5 gallons or so on the floor.

went to touch something hitting the water and electrocuted myself, thankfully nothing in tank was injured. i think my hob skimmer overflowed and caused it to overflow, i unhooked it and will have to solve that problem later

ya i have heard mixed reviews so i never tried it on my old tank. i was scared it would hurt my SPS ... as long as you siphon as much out as you can before i think it shoul dbe fine. I also changed my filter soncks every day after. I just cant get over how my skimmer is just overflowing like crazy! even unplugged and letting it drain back in the sump, it still is popping bubbles ofut of the top of the skimmer.
 
Nothing recent, but my hippo tang did some fragging for me. He (or she?) knocked off a chunk of scroll coral for me. I guess he thought it was in the way.
 
Redid my rock work a bit to get ready for an order that should be arriving from K & P Aquatics later this week. Have 3 softies and a flower rock anemone coming along with some crabs, snails, sea cucumber, & a lettuce sea slug.(really liked the sea slug and cucumber that I got with my last order and so I ordered another of each!)

I am excited about the anemone. K & P Aquatics are wonderful to work with. When the one I wanted was sold, they sent me photos from their just collected livestock and let me pick the one I wanted. It was a tough choice since they had so many really unique color combinations. The variety of colors that these come in are amazing. When I get the 180 gallon running, I'm going to have a section devoted to these flower anemones. I really like them.

Here's the one that is shipping to me this week.

plumbed my BRS GFO Reactor through the return pump. Had it running on a MJ 900.
Trying to clean up stuff since tank is stable and running for 2 years.
 
Added a new addition yesterday:smokin: Doing a 20g water change today.
