What have you done with your tank lately?

Added some sps to the display...the first of the new tank. Took a couple of fish out of qt and added to the display. Built a small stand extension to house my ato tank. Changed the ato tank to a 25 gallon roto mold tank and hooked up my calk reactor and dosing pump in a more permanent location.

Have finished the plumbing on the 120 and am slowly filling it with RODi water. If there are no leaks, I should be adding salt tomorrow and moving damsels in shortly there after.

I just purchased 3 marinepure 8x8x4 blocks to replace the live rock in my sump. I'll toss them in the sump and leave them for a few months before I start removing the live rock.

According to their website, two blocks is efficient for 500 gallons so I figure 3 would be perfect for my system. We'll see.

You are almost ready for a Pizza Night.

I just went to the one at ms unfortunately after dinner I hot to meet some of St peters finest due to a 5 month expired sticker my wife neglected yo tell me about. Yaahh I get to drive a hour after work to go sit in court. So much fun.

I do have a tank running but lost most all of my corals when my doser drained almost a gal of alk solution. So I haven't been buying any corals lately just equipment for the 300 and dippers for the baby lol.

Lots of little things...water changes, cleaned sump, etc. over the last week or two. I also built a stand extension and got my new ATO done before I went on vacation last week. I was getting tired of changing 5 gallon top off buckets every couple of days and didn't want my tank sitter to have to worry about it.

Where did you get poly tank from? I want to replace my brutes.

It's a 25 gallon vertical Ace Roto Mold tank. My local Buchheitts didn't have the size/style I wanted so I asked if they could order one in. They just added it to their regular order so I didnt have to pay freight charges. I also have a 65 gallon vertical that I picked up from Rural King a few years ago.

No leaks on the plumbing for the 120.
Tank was filled and salt mix was added on 03-06-16. Temp was brought up and a small bottle of Dr Tim's One and Only was added along with 6 damsels to cycle the tank. The damsels are being held in small breeder baskets to keep them from killing each other or being difficult to remove from the tank. Once the tank is cycled, I will begin moving other fish over from QT and the other "failed science project" (FSP TM) tanks.

Also started adding micro brittle stars and whatever little tiny pods I can scrounge from the FSP tanks.

broke down my old MP10 dry side. I'm going to order the new bearings. I watched the youtube videos and it looks fairly simple. hopefully I can save this thing and use it in my new tank.
Replaced my kessil 150 with a Ecotech G3. So far I like its colors, the blues are extremely vivid. The kessil 360 on the other side of the tank has nice blues but nothing like the G3, however the kessils transition throughout the day is seem-less, the G3's colors seem to defuse in spots in the tank during certain parts of the day.
